Interior design trends 2025

Looking to refresh your home interior this year and seeking inspiration from the latest trends?

The design team at Show Business Interiors who design some of our fantastic show homes, have given us an insight into the three exciting interior design trends that are making waves this year!

Warm earthy tones

Warm earthy tones, such as terracotta, olive green, and mustard, are making a comeback in 2025 – with Pantone choosing Mocha Mousse as their colour of the year.

This colour palette creates a relaxing and welcoming space, bringing the warmth of nature indoors. You can add these colours as accents into your home with cushions, throws, artwork or accessories.

Alternatively, if you’re wanting to create more impact, then these colours look great on walls, or you could find a wallpaper which contains elements of the palette. This way you can strengthen or tone down the look and feel with the accessories in your home.

Bold patterns and textures

Bold patterns and textures bring character to any home, adding depth and personality in many ways.

There are so many ways that you can encapsulate this look in your home from oversized print wallpapers to striking geometric prints and tactile fabrics, this trend is perfect for those looking to make a bold statement.

Colour drenching

Colour drenching is using a single colour across an entire space, including walls, ceilings, and even furniture, to create a seamless, immersive effect. The days of using a bold colour just as an accent wall are over.

This approach adds a bold, sophisticated touch to interiors and can be tailored to suit various styles. Light shades can make your room feel bigger and airier, whilst darker tones create a cosy cocoon of colour.
