Avant Homes starts work on £38m, 139-home Acklam development

Housebuilder Avant Homes North East has started construction on its £38m, 139 new home development in Acklam
Called The Avenue and located off St David’s Way, the development will comprise a mix of two-, three and four-bedroom practically designed, energy efficient homes. It will feature 12 of Avant Homes’ house types with prices to be released at a later date.
Avant Homes anticipates it will release the first homes for sale in November of this year. A show home is scheduled to open in May 2025 and the first residents are expected to move into their new homes in 2025.
As part of Avant Homes' ongoing commitment to support and enhance the communities in which it builds they have also committed to a planning contribution of £600,000 to support the local area.

“We are now underway with building our development which will deliver a mix of new homes that are ideal for all types of buyers, whether first time, second steppers, families or downsizers.

“We want to help make peoples next move a reality and now look forward to releasing the first homes for sale at The Avenue in November."
