Avant Homes North East launches affordable bungalows for sale at £38m Acklam development

Housebuilder Avant Homes North East has announced the release of five affordable two-bedroom bungalows
priced from £160,000 at its £38m, 139-home The
Avenue development in Acklam.
Located off St David’s Way, the development comprises
a mix of two-, three- and four-bedroom practically designed, energy
efficient homes and features 12 of Avant Homes’ house types.
The
five bungalows are available as part of the Middlesbrough Council-backed
discount market sale (DMS) scheme which offers eligible buyers 20 per cent off
the market value price.
All of
the properties are the semi-detached and detached Burford house type, which all
benefit from solar panels, triple glazing and EV charging.
The
DMS scheme provides access to homes while enabling buyers to attain 100 per
cent ownership and financial savings, making owning a new home more achievable
and affordable.
All
the bungalows feature an entrance hallway that gives access to all the rooms in
the home. A generous double bedroom has a spacious single bedroom opposite
whilst the family bathroom features contemporary sanitaryware.
At the
end of the hallway is a modern kitchen with integrated appliances and this open
plan space extends into a dining area and lounge space which leads out into the
rear garden via French doors.
