Avant Homes East Midlands appoints land director to deliver ongoing multi-tenure strategy

Carl Oxley, who joins from residential developer Persimmon Homes where he was also land director, has more than 30 years’ experience in the housebuilding industry.
In his new role, he is responsible for leading Avant Homes East Midlands’ land team in securing new multi-tenure development opportunities through site acquisitions across the region.
Commenting on his appointment, Carl said: “Avant Homes has a clear focus on delivering its multi-tenure strategy through the provision of quality new homes for everyone at affordable price points.
“I am very pleased to have joined a business with a clear focus and to be leading a highly capable team of land professionals to further enable the delivery of this strategy throughout the East Midlands.”
Avant Homes East Midlands currently has seven live developments ranging from Cotchett Village in Mickleover to Barton Point in Kettering.
The housebuilder is committed to delivering private for sale, private rented sector (PRS) and additional affordable housing. This is in order to better serve customers and communities, particularly where the cost of living has increased and affordability is stretched.
Welcoming Carl to the business, Avant Homes East Midlands managing director, Ben Felton, said: “Carl’s wealth of knowledge and experience make him an excellent addition to our senior management team.
