From the 1st of April the stamp duty thresholds will change from £425,000 to £300,000 for first time buyers.
This means that if you are a first time buyer buying your first home that's worth more than £300,000 if you buy before this date you could save you thousands on your stamp duty!
Currently home movers pay stamp duty on homes worth more than £250,000, but from the 1st of April home movers will pay stamp duty on homes which cost more than £125,000.
This means that if you buy now and move in before the 1st of April you could save significant money on your stamp duty!
